Seems like many of the same posters just post excessively on this thread…. Anyone got any new, solid info on portal players that might be truly on CKH’s radar? I figure she’s gonna take three total from the portal. She has one (Wells). Who are the other two?

Morrow was on my fantasy team so I am painfully aware of her stats this year. :p My understanding was that Coach Bruno spent this year trying to convert Morrow into a wing (from being a post player). At 6'1", I think DePaul was looking ahead and investing in Morrow's potential pro future. Part of that was encouraging her to shoot more from the perimeter (and be more of a playmaker - though her turnovers increased, her assists also more than doubled). She showed some improvements through the season (20% from 3 in the non-con schedule, 29% in conference), but there aren't many offensive systems out there like DePaul: they were in the 90 percentile range for points per game, field goals attempted, and 3-pointers attempted this year.

She showed she can more efficient as a freshman, shooting 52% on FGs and 71% on FTs, so I imagine she can show that again in the right system. It'll be interesting to see if, whoever takes her on, they move her back to the post or keep working on her perimeter game (or both).

She aint scoring 25 here will get half the shots. That true anywhere mostly. Like Aaliyah Boston this year

Coach Yo just got someone out the portal. We don't know if it's a big time transfer or not. But a BIG would be good for her and i could see the young lady from Ark going there since they were one of the smaller teams .
