I'm still waiting for you to come out of your UT closet. That blue is ugly and we don't bite. We'd gladly accept you in orange :)

You probably don't speak for all your brethren.

I've softened on the Vols in my time in Knoxville. My son was born 8 weeks ago, and there's most likely going to come a time that I take him to a UT basketball or football game and he dresses in orange. I'm just going to have to be ok with that.

Yup! Pretty excited. I have a nephew I've been raising but this is my first actual child. I've purchased all of the baby UT stuff up. Me and the wife are still at odds at what he's wearing home from the hospital and with his first pictures. I have a UT outfit picked out and she has monkeys. I'm winning this fight. :D

Good luck to you. It's an awesome experience and it changes your life for the better.

I tried reading it all, but it got a little tedious and circuitous.

But, if you want to count the evidence for and against the "plagiarism" rumors, let's review the evidence that supports the rumor:

1. An anonymous "tip" from someone who is supposedly in the Athletic Dept. at UTK. The identity of this person is unknown, as is the actual quote given to reporters. This "tip" was not substantiated by the University, and was refuted by Golden's father.

Now, aside from the lack of verification of these rumors by anyone who wants to actually identify them self, let me review the evidence that weighs against "plagiarism". This is akin to "proving a negative", which is impossible, but here goes nothing:

1. Literally, everything else that has happened. He transfers schools successfully, and is seeking a waiver from the NCAA. If there was academic fraud in any way, he wouldn't be successful at either. That's as succinct as I can make it.

You're all allowed to think what you want. I'm just trying to bring a little bit of rationality to this discussion. Plagiarism makes zero sense, if you step back and look at what has gone on.

Yeah, it also had way too many facts.

In the past few years, there has been controversy concerning female UT employees with different types of authoritative positions. Seems like something is going on...
