Trade-in games on Amazon

I had the newest Tiger Woods sitting around the house and hadn't played it in a while. I decided to trade it and Gamestop was only going to give me $15 for it, I went on Amazon and got $31 for it. Anyone else trade-in games at Amazon? Is it normal for them to offer that much more for games than Gamestop?

how does the trade in work at amazon? That's quite ridiculous. Do they pay for the shipping?

They pay shipping. You select the game you want to trade-in and it tells you how much they will credit to your account. You print off a UPS shipping label, drop it off at a UPS Store/UPS dropbox, and once they receive the game and verify that it is in acceptable condition they add the credit to your account. The whole process took about 3 days.

nice! although some of them that i've checked (halo:reach, etc.) were about the same as gamestop so i'll probably just keep supporting my local addict house.

I didn't know you could trade in games on Amazon. I'll have to check it out when I have games I want to get rid of

Im going to look into it as well, even if I can get a quarter on the dollar as opposed to a nickel. I have a bad habit of piling up games I'll never play again.

Same here. I traded in 2 games at Gamestop last night that I had never played. I still have 3 games at the house I haven't played yet

Not a big gamer but my 7 yr old is, can he do this with DS games also? Tia..
