He worked with the courts and cooperated with everything....he had a better opportunity and took it...are you saying Vandy > PSU? He made a career change....not ran from the program.

Of course it's a team sport. But for you to try and say that the coach has no bearing on the team HE assembles, oranginzes, coaches and leads is wrong IMO. The head coach in college football is the most important person in any program. There's a reason why some programs consistently win every year....they hire the right guy who gets the right talent and makes sure that talent executes his winning system. For example, Bama was struggling and very inconsistent for a decade until they're hired one guy, Nick Saban. The rest is history.

Penn state, with sanctions and two different coaches, won the B10 before Tennessee could win the east...and we're still losing to Vandy. Hard to swallow.

Wouldn't want a man who covered up a rape leading the football team at my university.

The point remains that coaching is still an issue at Tennessee
