Would you trade the '16 GA Hail Mary win for a '17 FL Hail Mary loss?

If if it means I don't have to listen to one more fan embarass the entire fan base then yes.

I'll do you one better, would you trade the Georgia Tech win that we didn't deserve for the Florida game we did deserve?

OP kudos for not a fire Butch of Dan Mullen better than Butch thread. My answer is that our DB coach teaches DBs to be deeper than the deepest man by ten yards, then break on the ball, and we wouldn't have needed the Hail Mary vs UGA, and UF wouldn't have happened. That being said I'll take UGA play.

I do not think we will be 7-5 this year. Without the HM we would have been last year. Also I love that Dobbs has that play in his memory bank.......he deserved it.

No question. We've been competitive with Georgia every year but we haven't beaten Florida on the road since 03. This year would've been a much sweeter win than that would've been an epic loss because that game last year was competitive throughout. We thoroughly outplayed Florida and still lost. We should've beaten them by 3 TDs and that's not exaggerating.

That is tough.

I would trade any win for any loss to Florida. But that was so magical, I'd have to say......hale yes.

Can we?

According to Florida CJM the play was not a Hail Mary
Wikipedia: A Hail Mary pass is a very long forward pass in American football, made in desperation with only a small chance of success. In the Hail Mary pass receivers run straight toward the end zone and the quarterback will make a long pass.

Well yeah.

If it meant we dropped one more game from last year to be undefeated now? Who wouldn't take that? What you all smokin in Bucksnort?

It wasn't a Hail Mary. Not that it matters.

A Hail Mary is a pass thrown up into a crowd of humanity.

It was not a Hail Mary.

That doesn't change the fact that it was a miracle with .00000001% chance of success

Negating that pass against UF doesn't mean we win. It just means the game goes to OT.

If you change the Georgia Hail Mary, Tennessee loses.

If you change the end of the Florida game, the game goes to overtime where both teams would be given more time to make crucial mistakes.

Florida fumbled at the 2 after an 80 yard run. Florida also fumbled another time after a good run. Both teams had their chances. Florida scored on their last one, that's all.
