Might as well hire another liar! Saban said he wasn’t leaving the Dolphin, next day he was Bamas coach. Said he wasn’t retiring anytime soon…BAM retired

Not buying it . This is Gruden type stuff. People think Bama and Lanning gonna be that brazen about it? Not saying this guy is lying, I’m saying he’s getting bad info. I’m sure Bama would meet with him elsewhere and not fly him into Tuscaloosa. Most coaching search processes don’t work like that. I don’t buy it at all.

I'm not implying its true or anything like that. I do think Lanning is someone of interest to them but would be surprised if he was in Alabama.

Having said that, I believe Alabama administration has been aware of this happening for sometime. The word is Saban's wife has serious health issues. If I'm right, it would not shock me that they had wheels in motion for sometime on a replacement. I would expect a quick announcement on the replacement.

I seriously hope Saban absolutely says NO. Kiffin with bama's resources would be a serious problem.

Whatever Kiffin's issues are he absolutely can recruit and coach. Please keep him at Ol Piss.

Besides, Kiffin has been waiting and praying for this job to finally come up and him be in a position to take it. Its perfect. No one thinks OM is his final destination and he has shown he can turn things around even there.

Please God, bestow your mercy on us and make sure Kiffin stays right where he is (though Im sure he will probably get ANOTHER couple of million out of this).

That's false. They aren't going to hire whoever they want. Clearly Smart is the best hire. Not happening. I'd argue Sark is number 2. Don't know if he'd go.

They will get who they want that they know they can get.

Kirby won’t leave UGA for another school. Texas has HUGE 💰 and he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Who’s next is who they will get.
