Toughest SEC 3 game stretch of 2018?

Good test for year 1. I don’t see this completely as a bad thing, will definitely test our endurance and we will get to see what we have as far as product in the field.

Tough for sure, but LSU plays Georgia,Florida & Miami in addition to the brutal SEC West gauntlet. Wouldn't be surprised if Vols finish with better record than Tigers.

Wouldn't the toughest 3 game stretch be at UGA, at Auburn, and home against Bama? I know there is a bye sandwiched in there but it says 3 game stretch, not 3 week stretch...

Yeah, I don't get why he would include Carolina at the end of that stretch and not Georgia at the front end.

Fire the scheduler! Fear no team,at least place some cream puffs 'tween the juggernauts. Strategic planning of open dates would also be helpful, we play in a very physical conference. :crazy:

Coach O's last year at LSU, that buy-out is going to sting.

This is news? We have a brutal stretch like this every season.

I was thinking the same thing.

We have Alabama every year, and we always seem to pick our 2nd West team when they're on their upswing.

How about toughest 5-game stretch?

Extend this back 3 weeks, and you get
UF @ Home
@UGA
BYE
@Aub
UA @ Home
@SCar

Yikes!

What 2 games do you want most from that stretch?

How many wins from that stretch would satisfy you?

If I could only have 2 games, I'd take Florida and Alabama. I wouldn't be happy with 2-3, but I'd take it. 3-2 looks a lot better to me.

I'm with you, except that if we can take Fla/Ala, then why couldn't we beat the others?

I'm going with 2-3/3-2, but 2 of them won't be Fla & Ala.

I agree. IF we could beat Alabama, we definitely shouldn't lose to SC. I realistically see the potential to beat UF and SC. However, I say that with the knowledge that UF has a voodoo hex on us. Who knows, though? We might be pleasantly surprised.

We DO get UF at home, which is a BIG help, IMO. The atmosphere for the 2016 game was unbelievable. I'm not seeing why SC is pre-ranked 25th, but whatever there. Can't wait to see what we're made of on September 1st.

When we do get back to winning,no one will ever question our SoS that's for sure..Seems we always play a brutal schedule year in and out.I just compare it to other teams and it just seems way harder than most Jmo tho...

I’m so tired of hearing about how tough our schedule is every year. It’s like a large segment of our fan base takes pride in it, wears it as some sort of badge of honor. If we were better, much better like we used to be, our opponents’ schedule would be tougher because they’d have to play us. Can’t wait until that’s the case again and we’re no longer reduced to “bragging” about and hang our hat on how tough our schedule is.

All of us are "tired of hearing" something, especially this time of year. I mean, the next time I hear (read) "Vandy owns us", I'm gonna stick an ice pick in my eyes.

Before anyone gets any ideas, I'm not really going to stick an ice pick in my eyes.

Seem to really be enjoying my posts as of late Behr. Glad I can provide some off-season entertainment for you. 😉

I sense sarcasm. Haha.

I do enjoy your posts, always have. If you had responded to a couple of my comments/questions to you in the past week or so, you would already know that.

So why is Auburn-Bama-SC the toughest 3 game stretch instead of Georgia-Auburn-Bama? Is SC suddenly better than UGA?
