So i just got out of my A&P lab, and we had to mess with the cadaver some. I must say, touching the inside of another human being, is by far the creepiest and nastiest thing i've ever done.

Are you at UTK? Good book on the body farm-Death's Acre. Body Farm is another. UT's body farm is pretty famous nationally and worldwide. I remember taking short cuts through there as a kid.

I think that "No homo" should be added to the title, just to prevent some confusion.

I worked for a neighbor who had a cleaning business in my high school days. We did a suicide clean up. The guy splattered his brains against the wall with a shotgun. There wasn't that much blood but the stench was horrendous! No dead animal smells that bad. Ruined my dinner for about a week.

Once you get past the "creepiness" of it, there is no substitute for hands-on learning of the human body. I can say with confidence that I learned as much from first-year med school Anatomy class as I ever have in a year.

I took an Anthro class my freshman year as an elective and the Professor took us out to some decomposition farm to study environment affects on muscular and skeletal systems.

Suffice to say, a lot of people didn't show up for class that day.

I regret reading this thread. It just reminded me of every dead thing I have ever seen and smelled. So much for having good dreams tonight, ha.
