Totally impressed with DD's demeanor and attitude. The guy tells you exactly how it is w/o putting his foot in his mouth. They totally tried to bait him into taking a shot at X but he answered it w/o pointing fingers.

I am also impressed with his recruiting. Think about it ....2 and 1/2 weeks and we still have a top 10 class

So was Buzz Peterson. I am more impressed with the results. And, he produced good results.

Agreed. The more I see him the more I like him. Like most people, I was unsure about the hire but felt better after seeing him at his opening press conference. Now feel much more confident after what he was able to accomplish after 2 weeks in the WORST possible situation you could be in for recruiting.

Now if he can coach em up we'll be in great shape. I think he's got this program going in the right direction. Sell Tennessee the program, not just Dooley, not just the coaching staff, but Tennessee.

He is smarter than the reporters and more able to think on his feet than anyone we have had at TN in my lifetime.

WE ARE TENNESSEE!! WE HAVEN'T CHANGED!! That made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!! I'm really starting to like this guy! I can see our guys actually wanting to go to war for him!! I can't wait till they crank it up for spring. Wish that I was on ole' rocky top.....

I think DD has done an outstanding job. I also think he needs a good nights sleep, he looks like he hasn't sleep much in the past couple of weeks.

I like what he said about developing players off the field as well as on. His comments about the 2007 class were interesting. I'm looking forward to watching how this guy trains the players to be good citizens as well as good ball players.

Good luck, CDD!

It's obviously hard to tell how successful he'll be as coach here, but from what I've seen, I like Dooley as a person. I hope things work out for him.

Couldn't agree more! I'm excited about UT's future under CDD. Oh, and Wilcox will turn out to be one of the best DC's in college football. Wait and see. Go Vols!!!!

The thing that impresses me most about DD is that he always deflects attention away from himself and speaks highly of the university. Its very much welcome around here IMHO. Seriously believe he'll be around for a long time if we allow him to. He seems like the hard working guy who will put in 30 years at a company and they almost have to kick him out because he doesnt want to leave.

I really liked him responding to the snow question: "What are you gonna do when we throw our first interception?!?"
