if you really wanna feel depressed go around other sec teams message boards and listen to what they have to say about it. we have embarassed the whole SEC, and let down the other 11 teams in the conference.

Wait until basketball season, that's when we have a chance to beat UCLA, Kentucky, Florida...

That's the thing that really adds to the pain... We didn't hold up our nend of the bargain and let the whole conference down, in primetime.... This was a key game for recruiting too...

Whatever. What's embarassing is the fact is you guys are one of the few SEC teams with the balls to schedule road non conference games. You are very much respected in pac-10 country for that.

You mean 10. Miss. St. has nothing to say to us.

Is that because we are now the creampuffs for the pac10?

We will not play like that again for the rest of the year. At least we got it out of the way. Now back to more important football, the SEC.

We can still do this, I don't believe our boys will play like that again.

I don't know. I think that UAB is going to be the season telling game for us. Perhaps UCLA has a much much better Defense than advertised. Perhaps... but if we don't execute well against UAB and flatten them, we're hosed.

Agreed. But if you were UAb, wouldn't you be even more nervous now after that embarrasment? I mean, we SHOULD come out with a vengance. Nobody likes to play teams they "know" can play good football after being embarrased.

I know it Coach Fulmer's style to run up the score, but I'd like to see a 63 point game to help offset, everybody else ate their cupcakes week 1 right?

We have to stay positive.

Why do we have to stay positive. "This team has great chemistry." according to the coaches. 4 interceptions. 2 tries at 45 plus field goals! Great ball control we beat the pants off of them with time of possesion. I am a Fulmer supporter, but games like this make me sick to my stomach. We looked pitiful on offense. Even the commentators ran out of excuses for Crompton. Thank goodness we didn't have to go to our 3rd string quarterback. No excuse for lack of execution on the offense!!!

Sick??? I got up at 3:30 and threw up!!!! Heartbroken is an understatement. I don't have the energy to go on and on about us last night, but today is a new day and I am "still and calm" knowing Coach had no shoes to wear home for they were firmly planted in the rear ends of a few people...special teams coach, uhhhhh....how about Clawson, ya' think maybe he learned a lesson? We'll be fine. I know it's hard, but we have got to move forward starting today.

Stay positive...
