Tomb Kings in January. They will be a fun faction. think of them as good guy vamps. well, not pure evil Vamps.

also the "Experiment" has been announced as a custom battle mode that lets you alter settings. from the short vid it was unclear if this alterations applied to both sides or not.

MSI bites me in the ass. My Apache can't run TWWH2 beyond Medium at 40+ FPS. Everything is ****ing GPU upgrade proof.

Time to sell and upgrade. Glad I got the i'7. NOT!

Tomb King Trailer out, looks awesome. All the giant smashy statues you could want. they breath fire, turn you into sand by looking at you, and now come with eye lasers.

Wow was not expecting this. I thought the new historical title was the British isles one?

I am hoping they include some places outside of China. just for diversity. and hopefully at least 2 playable non Chinese factions. I don't know much about the period so I am looking forward to learning.

I am 99.9% getting this game. Only 99.9% because I have never played a Total War game before and therefore unfamiliar of how they play.

I have been playing RotK games for a long time now. I'm all about some 3 Kingdoms strategy games. In that video alone you have Dong Zhuo as the evil tyrant and his pet officer, Lu Bu. Yuan Shao is the dude who pushes the figurines on the table ordering the 3 bothers, Liu Being, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fri, to fight Lu Bu. Gotta admit, I'm quite excited about this game.

big time strategy game. definitely watch some game play vids. there are two main pieces of the main campaign game. First the overall map which operates some what like Civ games. This is where you do you city planning, army building, moves characters, explore, trade whatever. When you fight a battle you get the option to fight it in a real time mode with whatever troops you have in that army on a smaller map that lets you command the units.

its an indepth game, that is long. its not crazy indepth like some strategy games but it has the best battle mechanics imo. Campaign will likely take you a couple weeks to play thru at first. but once you get good and comfortable with the game it goes a LOT faster. On some of the earlier games I can beat a campaign in a day of power gaming.

Sounds like my type of game then. I will be watching it closely. I still need to beat RotK 13...
