TOS saying that Clemson released Steele today

Was it in an Orange Bowl on national television, one week before being considered for another job?

Not to mention Steele's defense was so unbelievably stout this past season--Gave up an average of 30+ pts on the season I believe.

You're right. One game isn't a measuring stick.

29.4 against the ACC juggernaut offenses--and Wofford

Monte Kiffin also kept the BCS champions out of the endzone all day, and was one man boob short of beating them.

I thought he blocked those with his hands, but I'm pretty sure he could have been on his back and used the boobs. So, your point stands.

I also watched Chavis give up 59 to an average UF and 41 to basically one player on a terrible bama team. Things happen so to cherry pick results doesn't work

9 games this season teams scored 27 or more points on Clemson's D, and thats in a weak conference. How many SEC teams do you think we could hang 28 or more points on to win.

Tennessee and Dooley are clearly in a good position to ignore facts, and roll the dice hoping this is just an anomaly.

I'm thinking he prolly complemented Dooley on his genius whilst they worked together for Saban. Dooley may be the guy whose scout team got Steele demoted. :dunno:

But did Wofford have a WR playing QB?

That way we could figure out if Steele would be smart enough to put more players in the box. Might get hired by a Pac 12 team, if he's that good.

Hopefully, i say we let them have him

Open note to Derek Dooley:

PLEASE hire a DC soon so people don't keep posting a two-year-old article as fact.

Sad reality: O/U on the number of times it's linked again in the next few days is 13.

............ I'm taking the over.
