I'd be disappointed if DT does but whatever. He was a 2 pt 2 asst player last year who's development and game was held back by his coach, and who's game would flourish with picks sent his way to create.

could just be me personally but Thompson doesn't seem to have a true position. He did some nice things at Point but just looked like a SG to me, but his outside shooting game was nothing like it was projected to be.

I must have missed something. What is the rumor?

I heard he was doubling his workout regimen because of increased load this coming season. A close friend also says he's putting up about a thousand shots per day and is totally focused on being the best PG in the SEC and leading us to the final four before jumping early to the league in 15 or 16. Just what I heard.

He was overcoached last year and when he did play, he wasn't asked to or allowed to create. He has great vision and sees passing lanes other guards don't. His bad turnovers were when Martin had him trying to make a 3.foot pass near midcourt before going to stand in the corner. His best game was when he was given the starting reigns. Then he got starter practice minutes and never played close to the same again.

If those guys leave, it has little to do with basketball on the court imo. Maybe they are there for other reasons or don't want to truly work hard if they do leave.

Why would DT wanna leave when he is probably gonna be a starter ? Unless he feels like he's gonna be pushed aside for one of the new guys

I see a better chance of Hubbs leaving "if" Punter commits. I don't understand why Thompson would transfer seeing he would probably get more playing time.

Obviously, it's because he prefers to be held back by his coach, and fears he would get too good, too fast, under Tyndall.
