everywhere except to Tennessee.

Are we so stacked that we can't accommodate any additions?

Are we out of money?

Penn State just landed a 5* DB from UGA and a 4* from Florida. Penn State! A 4* CB from UGA went to lowly Purdue. Walter Nolen never gave us a look.

Of the top 100 rated transfers (247 Sports), Vols lost 1 (Baron-DE) and got 2 (Staes-TE and Brazzell-WR).

So Tennessee netted one top 100 player from the transfer portal. I don't have time to do it but how does that compare to the rest of the SEC? We might not be that bad...

Just quickly glancing at the top 100 list, I see that Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M lost multiple players.

We've gotten very good commits from the portal. What do you want them to get that they didn't? How many spots do we have?

A 4* CB from UGA went to lowly Purdue.
Wonder why

Penn State has had quite a few DBs get drafted the last few years. It shouldn't be suprising they can lure top DB recruits.

Listen to Swain. And others. There's clearly a problem. It's not money. We have tons. It's not playing time. We have tons. (Especially on the line). This staff is not connecting to these kids for whatever reason.

The transfer portal is about addressing needs, not just accumulating a large number of players. We got highly rated WR, TE and CB in the portal.
And if you want to follow the potential to land a very big fish take a spin through the recruiting forum
And how we doing on the o-line?

Yet players that have/are moving on have said that they are going to miss the culture the most. Weird.

That’s makes no sense…five stars no matter what /s.
Yes it does. We have passed on some high * prospects. You've heard Vols look for character and not someone who may be a character. There are talented prospects with good character. He passed on Vols first time and maybe even played the Vols to get a big bucket, not a McDonald's bag, at A & M.

Nolen ....hmmm.. maybe WE didn't give him a look..........showed his colors before....culture fit? Nope
I agree. Walter Nolen was never a take with Vols this time around. A very close friend was on staff when he played high school. Told me way back then…Walter may not be worth the headache. And he prepped for a while in high school in Mississippi so I wasn’t surprised AT ALL he went to Ole Miss.

We spent a lot of our money to keep what we had on the OL and DL. Looks like we are about to land a 5 star OT, but just because someone is a 5 star in HS doesn't always mean they are a AA in college.

The sense of entitlement of some fans is frustrating. The thought that a player just doesn’t want to come to UT completely baffles them.

Southern players eschewing Tennessee and going to Penn State, Purdue and Fresno State is baffling.

There's no better place to play in America than Tennessee. A few peers, but no place better, particularly if you're talented and looking for playing time.
