Yeah, and why would the readership of the New York Times give a crap about a secondary recruiting violation by an SEC school? It was a hit piece to draw NCAA fire on Kiffin, who was seen as a threat to Thamel's BFF Urban Meyer back when he was at Florida.

Thamel is the one that wrote the hostess gate article on Tennessee. He loves to suck up to Florida at every chance and trash Tennessee at every turn.

I can't believe that you guys haven't started a Nick Saban or Dabo thread yet. How soon we forget about all the coaches that rejected UT before we got Butch Jones (Muschamp, Strong, Cutclif. ...)

Seemed just yesterday rumors of Butch going to Purdue circulated, now UT is hoping to maybe, possibly land their current coach. We live inside a dream.

Not to mention there is still Saban, Smart, and Muschamp is gaining at SC.

By thamel's logic, Florida has three candidates and no one else can even offer those candidates because they belong to Florida. Fact is currently Tennessee has better talent on their team than Florida. They also have an AD that paid their former coach his buyout instead of swindling him out of money on the way out.

I still see it with Kelly landing at Florida which works best for him and them BC he isn't a terrific recruiter but has a great talent base there. Frost is a better recruiter and a better fit for Tennessee.

That guy is a Syracuse grad and was in school when we beat them in 98. Has been butt hurt ever since.

Not saying he is completly FOS, but he does take plenty of shots at Tennessee.

I'll say it, he's completely FOS to the point that he's a POS. The dude has a serious love affair for all things Florida.
