Whoever, you can say TEE MARTIN, LOL no he don't count. If the position of the player was a RB, TB, FB, HB or whatever back.

Not fair because some of us grew up in different eras of UT football, but mine are as follows:

1. Travis Henry/Travis Stephens (tie)
2. Jamal Lewis
3. Charlie Garner
4. James "Little Man" Stewart
5. Chuck Webb (didn't see too much of him)

I throw in one more
6. Could have been great = Gerald Riggs Jr.

1. Jamal Lewis
2. Travis Stephens
3. Jay Graham
4. Travis Henry
5. Cedric Houston

I hope I can put Bryce Brown on there in about 4 years.

Off topic, but what was that guy's name who was supposed to be the next Jamal Lewis? He was #34 I believe, but we rarely used him.

No way that any list can't include Chuck Webb. all time is tough-

Jamal Lewis
Johnny Majors
Chuck Webb
Johnnie Jones
Travis Henry

This has to be narrowed down to who we've seen. There's no way to compare Webb to McEver, etc.

IMO:
1) Chuck Webb
2) Jamal Lewis
3) Travis Henry
4) Reggie Cobb
5) Charlie Garner

I have to say though, as far as historical accounts from those around him, Bad News Cafego would be pretty hard to top.

OP didn't ask who the biggest flop of an RB ever was

I thought it was a pretty strong indictment on the legacy of George Cafego when Peyton Manning said that he was one of the first players that he thought of when he thought Tennessee football.

Minus C. Houston add Johnny Majors to number 3 and bump Henry to 2 IMO

Wow. I hadn't heard that, but I agree with Peyton (see my avatar).

It was on that Top 10 show that they do on NFL Network. They were doing the Top 10 talent producing schools, or something like that.

They interviewed Peyton. He said something to this effect, "I mean, when you think of Tennessee football, you think of Reggie White, Johnny Majors, George Cafego".

That's not the exact quote, but it's pretty close. I'll have to find the video of that.

EDIT: Nice avy. I assume that's your arm?

Found his name. Jabari Davis

Didn't he play at a pretty good clip in the 2003 Miami game? Seem to remember that name with that game for some reason.

Oh well, I got it on tape(who has those anymore, lol), I can always watch it later.
