Tee Martin (cool customer)
Peyton Manning (prototype pocket passer)
Tony Robinson (The most physically gifted QB i've ever seen come through Tennesee)
Heath Shuler ( Gritty, tough physical QB that didn't rattle easy. Had some wheels also)
Condredge Holloway ( Little before my time, but from what i have saw of him, he deserves to be mentioned)

Roger Staubach
Joe Montana
Dan Marino
John Elway
Tom Brady

... Oh wait

The fact that by the time it's over Manning will be considered right there with those names says quite a bit.

Team accomplishments mean precious little when evaluating an individual. There's not a one of us here that couldn't throw out a litany of names that they considered great players but toiled on teams that never won a championship of any kind. (Eric Berry anyone?) Peyton Manning, as a singular player judged by nothing other than what he brings to the table, is so far beyond any other QB that's played here he should be spotted the 1st and 2nd slot. We're talking about someone who's going into the college AND pro Hall of Fame.

Having said all that Tony Robinson threw one of the prettiest deep balls I've ever seen.

Peyton already is on that list. And Brady doesn't need to be on that list. His counting stats are nowhere near the other guys. Rings are nice and all, but rings are a byproduct of the team you play on. Give Peyton a better defense in his earlier years and he easily has another ring or 2.

Peyton has 3 MVP awards and is well on his way to a 4th, which would be the most ever. He's 6th all-time in passing yards, 4th in TDs, 2nd in passer rating, 3rd in completion percentage, 2nd in consecutive games started, etc.... I honestly could go on and on. And he'll probably play another 5 years or so, moving up in those ranks.

My top 5 would be:

Unitas
Montana
Elway
Marino
Peyton

Andy Kelly
Condredge Holloway
Jimmy Streater

(Honorable mention: Tee Martin & Casey Clausen)
