Don't speak too soon. I have been a fan of the Vols since 77 and have seen too many times when UT got into any kind of trouble with the NCCA, they were bent over backward, and got it shoved up their kazoo. Tennessee has been their whipping boy for too long for me to expect anything different.

Saban is on the fade - he is losing it now. Keeps popping blood vessels which is not good.

Heupel and Danny White are sweeping the 2023 ratings and the groups that assign stars to recruits will start elevating Vol recruits to monster status.

You can see this happening right before your eyes so get ready to start stomping the Bama butts again and watch the A stickers and flags on the cars disappear.

I sure would like to see people claiming the A’s on their cars are for the Braves or Alcoa High School in 5-10 years.

A big concern w Heupel was recruiting. He'd never recruited at this level and was replacing a former recruiter of the year. We thought Heupel was good coach but not sure on recruiting. This leading the SEC and #5 nationally is very encouraging. I didn't expect it. I pray that this ranking sticks...that would be massive. Can you imagine if the ranking actually goes up? Not sure if it's even possible.

ESPN will probably have us at 10th in the SEC. They always rank us way lower than the other services. I truly believe someone has it in for us there. I find it disappointing...irritating...whatever that ESPN runs the SEC network.

Tbf has anything about our past 15 years suggested they've been wrong? It's starting to seem more believable than us recruiting 100% top-30 classes...multiple top 5 and top 10 classes..and yet doing as poorly as we have.

Fwiw they actually have us 3rd rn. The highest of any service.

Uhh he recruited while at Mizzou. So, in the SEC.

And anyone following his recruiting as a HC saw how he dominated his relative league (AAC). In 1 year alone he brought in 8 P5 transfers, which didn't even count in class rankings, while being #1 in the league 😅

Anyone saying he couldn't recruit was either blind or believed you should be able to recruit top-25 at ETSU if you're Nick Saban. That's just dumb and all recruiting is relative.

Who really cares what ESPN thinks or says? I know thy rule the TV world, but they have been a joke since 1997. I put them on ignore but I still watch their Saturday night games. Other than that, I treat them as I would an unlike mother-in-law.
