Red River shootout is #1, and Georgia vs. Okie State is #5 (kind of odd if you ask me).

yeah, I just finished watching that. they are really going to be hyping the Kiffin vs. Meyer thing. I am so ready for September.

story line, story line. there are a dozen other games that will be better "football" games than that one.

Too early to say that definitively.

If UF blows UT out, then yes. The hype machine will probably explode and it will be considered a trainwreck of a game.

However, in a close UF win or a UT win, it could very well be considered a great game, and storylines do make it important. People on both sides of the fence will view it with some extra intensity if it's a close game and that does make for a compelling game, even if the football on the field is a little sloppy.

Really pushing the kick off classic, aren't they? Guess that's to be expected after the trouncing of Clemson last year... I'm not sure I'd throw that one in the top 5, but, what do I know?

This is not on the list but I think the LSU/Bama game should be interesting for Vol fans. Just to see how Chavis' defense plays. I will be watching to see how many third and long the Tigers will stop. I give it a 20% stop percentage.

That is what the rest of the Volnation should be watching to! I used to get so frustrated with Chavis defense. If it was 3rd-10 to 3rd-25 we would lay off the receivers enough so that we would ensure they got the first down. I used to cringe when we had those situations, knowing the other team would keep the chains moving. In contrast, when our opponents would have a 3rd-1 or 3rd-2 I would feel alot better about our chances to stop our opponent. Glad to see there were others that saw the same thing with the Chavis defense. Good luck LSU! U will need it!

Georgia will struggle with OK State and VA Tech is better than Clemson was. Don't know about UT/FL #2. CLK is solely responsible for that ranking.

the UGA OK State game is the most intriguing to me the more I think about it... I think UGA's season will be defined by what they do in that game.

UT UF should be one for the ages. If Lane beats them then it will go down in NCAA history as one of the more memorable games

I'll stop well short of the unbridled, world-filling arrogance of a Gator, but I think we have a very good shot at winning that game. There's an old saying that pride goes before a fall, and probably never in the history of collegiate sports has one team, from its coach to its fanbase to its players, been so tremendously, ragingly overconfident as UF is right now, about that fateful game on 9/19. If we were fielding Grandma Jones' church-league strike team, it would be one thing, but we happen to have some pretty decent athletes, and no one ever would have dreamed of Ole Miss slaying the dragon before it happened, and, well, it's just time for the Tebow dream to come crashing back to earth a little bit, if you ask me.

I'm giving it about thirty minutes before some buffoon Gator comes on here to brandish his incredible third-grade intelligence with some witty repartee, so I'll help you out and save you the trouble, turd nation:

"In your dreams!"

"You wish"

Or perhaps, "Kiffen(sic) is a tool."

There. You don't have to work up a sweat trolling and can go back to your nightly five-finger party.

Peopletalk about Ole Miss and the talent they have accumulated. We lack depth, but we have some great athletes on our team. Our O coachng was just awful, miserable. We will do better on O. Our defense will be stellar. We have as much of a chance as Ole Miss

This just shows you how much people think of UGA and their so-called "cocktail" party game.

I think if nothing else we have more talent than ole Miss. I think like you said the offensive coaching was just horrible. It don't matter what system you run if you can't call plays worth a crap you won't beat a pee wee team. But the most interesting game on that top 5 list is that UGA Ok. State game. I think that will tell us a lot about what we can expect out of UGA

this is one of those situations where it will be time to put your money where your mouth is. It would be a moral victory in my book if we can keep it under 2 TDs.

I don't expect to win this game under the best of circumstances. But, if TN could pull something out of their asses it would be one of those things that IMMEDIATELY changes the culture of the program.

I think with as much talk that's been going on, if we won the game we could probably get almost anyone we wanted in recruiting for next year.
