So right now according to last week's poll we were ranked 35th in the AP poll...How long till we get into the top 25? I think we will get closer after this week, but will not quite be there just yet. I think the Ole Miss game will be the one that will put us in...Thoughts??? Does anyone think we will jump in this week?

If we win out....sure.

right win out, then win the bowl game. Ranking of the opponent would have some determinant too....though also if we soundly, ridiculously blow out the next three games, maybe, maybe we can be in at the bottom before the bowl game

but reality is, rankings wont come till us winning out what's left, including the bowl

If we beat ole miss we will definitley be in I think. No higher than 23 though.

I disagree if we beat Ole Miss we crack the top 25 in at least one poll, if we win out and win our bowl game we could finish as high as 15 I think but that would be best case scenario. Realistically I think if all the other stuff goes our way we finish like 19 or 18.

Lets just take it 1 game at a time and let the chips fall where they may. I will take a 8-4 season and not worry about the rankings all day long.

About a half dozen teams that are in the 20-30 ranking group this week have very tough games next weekend - games where they will be underdogs. If we can win impressively against Ole Miss we will be ranked or very close to it.

But a 7-4 team with wins over Ole Miss, USC, and UGA could make it in (pending Top 25 losses) when said team lost very close games in the early parts of the season and has since turned a brutal new leaf.

I think we could jump to about #29 this week, and if we win at Ole Miss I can practically promise we end up in the top 25.

8-4, 9-4 with the bowl, would be a fantastic season after the way we started. I try not to think about the few that got away.

Since most voters didn't watch us play against Memphis, they will just look at the final score, see the 28 points Memphis put up on us (not realizing the situation in which those points occurred), and as a result, we will not move up much this week.
