Top 25 finish?

What do you guys think? Can we pull it off?

Assuming we beat Vandy and Kentucky and win an impressive bowl game I think it's possible to eek in there at 8-5. A lot of teams are losing this year and no one, not even Florida, is anywhere near as good as they were last year.

NO. This year is shot. We need to win out and get on the recruiting trail immediately. We need to get the kids that are graduating early and let them get started. I just hope we land the ones that have committed and some other hammers.

I doubt it but it doesn't matter. Our guys need to just focus on getting these last two wins and getting into a half way decent bowl game. If we win out and can win a pretty good bowl game then maybe we can finish out in the top 25.

Well...I may have been a bit hasty. Looks like the last 8-5 team to make the final Top 25 was #23 FSU in 2005 but they were already ranked #22 going into a bowl game where they they barely lost to eventual #3 Penn State.

Agreed. I was aiming that at the op. Vols have to find a way to keep the UK streak going. Uk runs the cat too.
