willie parker did not even start in college. i guess his talent wasn't good enough. he did not give up(thats character). finally he got his shot and showed he had talent to go along with his character. what good is it to have a great talent who gets into trouble (suspensions) and is not able to play half the time. what effect does that have in the locker room. you seem like you know sports, so you should know it does have an effect. good character: is a leader, every team needs a good leader on and off the field. i would rather have some one who leaves everything out on the field than some one who is worried about what they are going to do after the game with the cheerleader. i want fundamentals not showboaters. give me posluzny penn state(bills) lb over brian bozzzworth any day. talent means a lot, but so does character. my point is you need both to have a great program.

Did you watch the game? I'm guessing no since it was only shown in 20% of the country. cal completely dominated the second half. if it wasn't for some completely homer calls, Cal wins by 2 tds easy. If Cal plays oregon 10 times on a neutral field, they win 8.

that just shows you how much you know. just want to have fun, but not play who is the biggest jerk. i only know curse words when it comes to that kind of stuff. do you even know who robinson was, the crack head. you question my knowledge first. i said nothing to any one questioning thier knowledge of sports. but i did get bombarded with( who does he think he is. he thinks he know more than us) where did that come from. tn is bad and every one should know that by now. thats not saying i know more than you. by making those statments about me knowing more are you trying to cover up something. i just wanted to give my opinion on this season. why can't i with out you being upset. since your so smart what was the most offensive yards in a game tn ever had and against who. if you get it wrong can i be in your club. oh try not to use the enternet to get the answer. just be a man if you don't know. honesty is part of character you know. good luck.

4 count them 4 turnovers to cals 0. turnovers can make or break a game. i don't live in tn any more, i miss the smokies though. ore could have tied the game late. close game even with 4 turn overs for ore. if cal had 4 turn overs to south carolinas 0 who would win. are you a pac 10 fan.

I am not trying to be the grammar police or pick a fight with you. I am sure that you know plenty about football and the Vols and I am not attacking that knowledge.

What I will say is that you may be the smartest football mind since, I don't know, Lou Holtz. However, if post in a style that looks like it was pounded out by a developmentally challenged fourth grader, people are going to take your opinion less seriously. I know that I have a hard time reading the wall o' text style that some people on here use and I just scan those posts, at best.

The rules of punctuation and grammar are not just some arbitrary rules to make life less convenient. They tend to make your prose more readable and give you the ability to more accurately convey your genius to the rest of us.

Sorry for the rant, I just had to get that off my chest.

Good teams don't turn the ball over. Cal's 3rd in the country in turnover margin. You think turnovers are all luck? Oregon could have tied the game late. They didn't. Oregon could have caused Cal to turn it over. They didn't. That's why Cal is better than Oregon.

exactly but its hard to have fun while being politically correct if you know what i mean. face to face you would more than likely not be able to answer most of my questions (cant use comp for back up) but i would be stumped some by you also. just love to talk sports, not teenage cut down, went through that many years ago. that was the drug age. when you have a family you jtend to grow up. but i would still like to get at least one nice comment about what some one think about football and not trying to jcut some one down. if jyou really knew me you would show respect just as i would to you, maybe. if not i guess the better man would make the other say uncle or worse. do the gator chomp.
