So a college team running on to the field while a Metallica song is playing is the best entrance in college football? Really?

Tennessee is the first ten on the list. IMO. Why did that video give me goose bumps and a tear in my eye. I really miss Tennessee. GO VOLS:dance2:

Can't see the list. Hope USC jr. is not on there. That is one of the 10 worst entrances in cfb.

Touching a sign is in the top 10? (ND), Running throw fire extinguishers? (Miami)

The VT is a joke. 40,000 people in a HS Stadium jumping up and down to Metallica? Piped in music should not be used to create excitement. The band is there...why don't they do something other than stand around in a line jumping?

They are, at number 4. A USC alum friend of mine sent me two other polls about this same topic. One had USC at #1 and VT #2 and the other had them reveresed at 1 and 2. She actually was able to say, with a straight face, that their stupid mascot in the cage was actually a great part of the entrance.

I do like the tradition you guys have on that. Our announcer with the "Heeeeeeeeeeere come the Gators" thing is okay, at best.

Sorry.....just watched the VA Tech entrance....THAT IS FREAKING COOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Clemson is # 1 for tradition JMO>>>...but Va Tech is Sweet!!!!! UT is were it should be #3!!!!!

Did you watch the same clip I did? Sorry, that's commercial as they get. Does nothing for me. But to each his own I guess.

Yea...I did. "Enter Sandman" is a song that gets you pumped up! More than "Rocky Top".....Sorry!

If that's your only criterion, then we should probably disband the Pride of the Southland Band and just play Metallica songs instead. We'd save money, too.

Running in to a canned metal song is a trailer park move.

my favorite is at the big games.

polite calmness as the band finishes "stars and stripes forever."

the roar starts with the first note of "fight vols fight."

and grows...

when The Pride opens the T the volume goes up several notches and you can't even hear "down the field" but you know they are playing it.

i've got to stop. i'm getting too fired up.:)

Watching both triggered different reactions from me. The VT intro had me bobbing my head up and down with a fist in the air. The TN intro made the hairs on my arms and neck stand up and put a lump in my throat. I'll take our intro over VT's every day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Of course I think we have the best entrance, however, Clemson's is pretty cool and so is Oregon's. That Duck on the Harley is awesome.

This video is very cool. Part of the appeal is that its NOT a slick production. Just some Vol fans capturing the moment.

I have shown so many people on the west coast this vid. They will be like, 'so what is Tennessee football and the SEC really like?" Their reaction???? 'So when can we come out for a game?" Man, those night games are fun!

UT's is GREAT! No question.....but the VA Tech thing got me stirred up...and I don't give a rats butt about Va Tech. That was cool! Sorry.........

Tradition wise UT is right there with Clemson...that is really unique BTW....

When I hear GOOD metal music...I get fired up! No matter what!

I laughed the first time I saw little USC's.
