Too much ice

“Getting killed isn’t some automatic result of going to a protest”. This is the type of bs mentally ill people pull out of their asses.
Wasn’t doin nothin. Just minding my own business peacefully protesting..
She wasn't doing anything that she should have reasonably expected to get killed for, IMO, which was my point

99.9% of us don’t go do what she did. Do you really not understand why we don’t?
It doesn't matter what most people do. The onus is on cops to not shoot unless it's absolutely necessary, not on the rest of us to navigate around their trigger-happy nature. It may be smart to do that but it doesn't change where responsibility actually lies IMO.

You said the agent overreacted, so to me it's that simple. The guy with the gun overreacted and someone is dead because of it. I don't see the need for the "she shouldn't be there" thing, because she wasn't doing anything that is supposed to be punishable by death to me

Good Grief. Keep the circle jerk going. Do you ever get tired of arguing your hard headed nonsense?

Of course you don’t see the need. It’s always someone else’s fault when poor personal decisions lead to consequences out of their control. I have a brother like that. He has made dumb choices his whole life but it’s never been his fault when his choices have consequences. Can’t fix stupid and mentally ill. Horrible combination.

So it's her fault and not the guy shooting ("someone else")? Why can't you give a straight answer to that question? It seems like you mainly blame her but won't say so. There are plenty of times when law enforcement kill someone and it IS their fault, even if you call that "blaming someone else" each time

K. It’s her fault. Actually and her wife’s fault for being on some site doxxing agents and talking her into getting into the car to go look for trouble. And Ice fault for not having better training. And the shooters fault for panic and firing thru the window. All made possible by her bad decision.
Now run along.

You're still doing the both sides thing. If it's mostly the shooter's fault, then it's dumb to waste all this energy blaming the victim. If it's mostly the victim's fault then you shouldn't be this afraid of saying so

why can't that same thought process be assigned to the cops?

They aren't being held responsible, because they have a badge. its always the person who is getting shots fault, not the one who pulled the trigger. ICE clearly doesn't have the training to even begin combatting whatever stupid or mental problems they might have.

its a completely twisted double standard.

I have not used the words warranted or deserved or said cops didn’t have fault, as a couple mental posters keep throwing that bs out. Smokey123 said it simple and best and people should heed is advice about making the choice not to put themselves in situations that could go bad, as he chooses not. The lady absolutely did not deserve to be killed that day but her choices led her directly to that situation. Millions of others find a way not to put themselves in that situation and made it home.
I believe most here are kindof on the same page.

There’s 2 different schools of thought at play.
-how it should be
And
-how it is.

We have to operate on the how it is school of thought while most likely agreeing on how it should be.
