So for me at least I addressed that in my last paragraph. At one point a long time ago I had to identify the state flags. And while I won’t pretend I still know them, especially the MN, it didn’t look like the state flag to me. And it was changed in 2024.

Also go read up on the process they used. From what I’ve gleaned they didn’t even let the people vote on it. And apparently there was a fairly large opposition to the choice.

It's a well-designed flag that has nothing to do with Somalia. The dark blue is the shape of MN, the star is the North Star, the light blue is the water in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. I understand why you or any reader can get them mixed up, I'm just saying that for the Posobiec types it's intentional.
