Yeah, exactly what I'm saying. DHS only real scope is counterterrorism and immigration, but they can label whatever they want as terrorism, I guess. Not sure where you’re going with this. If you are implying they use exaggerations to justify their actions I’ll agree. I’ll submit the ridiculous comments from the two idiots Noem and Bovino up until yesterday as evidence of that.
It's evidence that these protests create a dangerous situation. With guys like these congregating around ICE, bad things are more likely to happen than if it was you or me. These aren't choir boysTheir past and the rap sheet have no bearing on the circumstances of the event and it does not justify what the agents did.
ok prove the bolded. It’s been said numerous in this thread as a way to distract from an unarmed man being murdered, yet nobody has proved it and when asked they deflect or don’t even answer. Obstructing a federal operation would be a big deal and would clear up on what lead to the pepper sprayOK?
Looks like both were.
You can ask the agents. Like I said, probably because it fell aside after the import of someone being killed.
Looks like he was being arrested for physically engaging a federal agent. That's a no-no, from what I can tell.
People have completely lost the plot.
Song: “ICE Genocide”
Who even knows what the definition is anymore? It is just a useless label for lazy people.
Couldn’t post the video because of the language so threw a few screen shots together.

No idea, but seems they would be required to act. Kind of like how certain professions are mandated reporters. Teachers, for example.Needs refining. At station they are TSA and subject to their authority limits. At lunch sure go for it.
Also I’d submit the offense being observed matters. Jay walking, parking ticket, or even car theft which I referenced their authority limit applied. If they’re about to batter or kill another person I’d be shocked if exemptions didn’t apply. Just a guess
Immigration was a winning issue that Trump has fumbled hard with the heavy handed enforcement. So the Zipp's raids here yesterday in Phoenix happened at 15 separate locations. I would guess at least a few dozen agents at every location.
Today, they are reporting like triumphant heroes that they made 35 arrests of illegal immigrants, no reports of dangerous criminals. Meanwhile, anybody who can do math realizes that's a whopping 2.33 arrests per raid.
All I can think about is the $ it takes to arrest three dozen cooks that help our economy here.
And then on top of that, our community has to stomach ICE assaulting peaceful protesters at the Shea location.
I am not saying they are choir boys. But these after-the-fact histories are done to injur the character of the people of the moment which makes actors (good or bad) more justified. Saw the same thing with George Floyd..It's evidence that these protests create a dangerous situation. It’s a lose/lose when it comes to this situation for you. We either have racist bagging up all the colored people by the thousands or we aren’t doing enough and the 3 dozen that are captured is a waste of money. So the Zipp's raids here yesterday in Phoenix happened at 15 separate locations. The primary issue started around 4th amendment protections from illegal search and seizure. I think I googled variations on “what are the limits on ice authority” related to trying to understand the requirement of ice needing a judicial warrant to enter a private residence…just like every other LEO who’s authority is actually grounded in criminal code offenses. Honestly I did several. And I eventually got a hit on ICE’s authority initiating from the executive branch judges watch are not part of the judiciary they are DoJ employees. Thus their authority is civil based not criminal code based. That is a whole separate discussion from what has dominated this thread since Saturday however.Do you remember how you phrased the search? I'd like to check into that myself.
Yeah, it's the "goes to character" approach. Trouble is while there is such a thing in legal proceedings it's of extremely dubious use in untangling demonstrable actions. Just because someone is considered of good character doesn't mean they aren't guilty of X any more than someone considered of poor character is by default guilty of X. What actually happened (or didn't) is where the overwhelming amount of scrutiny needs to be.I am not saying they are choir boys.
