This is where I'm at with it. So many people are confused about my politics. Some intentionally mislabel it, but I do get why it's confusing to some. Culturally, I lean more liberal, but that's not politics. My political ideology is libertarian and I consistently demonstrate that with my advocacy. But VN is comprised of the 5:1 (or whatever ratio). Which means if I'm genuinely a libertarian/non-partisan, then I should be disagreeing with R posts 5x more, all else being equal.

That's what's happening in practice, more or less. So they see me disagreeing with the masses of R's and they can't wrap their minds around the idea that I'm actually not a lib.

And then MOOOOONEY is the other side of that, where he argues with libs and non-partisans way more than he does R's.

It's really easy to tell; when something happens that is a Democrat/Left person they are very specific with their criticisms. When it's a Republican/Right person, they pull out "Both sides are terrible". Every damn time.

Not to mention every accusation by the right is usually an admission. I've heard for years that the Democrats/Left will support somone no matter what if they have a D next to their name; which is laughable considering the last 2 elections (two words: Jill Stein). Yet Trump has done SO many things an actual small government conservative/libertarian should be 100% against and....crickets. Not a peep.
