Too much ice

Funny, no one has said my idea won't work and end the current mess in Minneapolis. The only one who has offered a different strategy is Hog, who wants to cut Federal funding to MN. So, tell me, how do you stop this?
I guess we all figured the figurative pummeling your really stupid and escalatory idea would be obvious. But you’re not all that bright sooooo..,

Well hog’s idea is f***ing stupid because it’s basically giving the demented orange man baby what he wants.

Here’s an idea, send ICE to where illegal immigration is significantly worse…Texas and Florida. Gee wonder why Trump won’t do that?

You people are lost causes.

As a former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations running counterinsurgency ops—both hunting insurgents and trying to separate them from sympathetic populations—I’ve seen organized resistance up close. From Anbar to Helmand, the pattern is familiar: spotters, cutouts, dead drops (or modern equivalents), disciplined comms, role specialization, and a willingness to absorb casualties while bleeding the stronger force slowly.

What’s unfolding in Minneapolis right now isn’t “protest.” It’s low-level insurgency infrastructure, built by people who’ve clearly studied the playbook.

Signal groups at 1,000-member cap per zone. Dedicated roles: mobile chasers, plate checkers logging vehicle data into shared databases, 24/7 dispatch nodes vectoring assets, SALUTE-style reporting (Size, Activity, Location, Unit, Time, Equipment) on suspected federal vehicles. Daily chat rotations and timed deletions to frustrate forensic recovery. Vetting processes for new joiners. Mutual aid from sympathetic locals (teachers providing cover, possible PD tip-offs on license plate lookups). Home-base coordination points. Rapid escalation from observation to physical obstruction—or worse.

This isn’t spontaneous outrage. This is C2 (command and control) with redundancy, OPSEC hygiene, and task organization that would make a SF team sergeant nod in recognition. Replace “ICE agents” with “occupying coalition forces” and the structure maps almost 1:1 to early-stage urban cells we hunted in the mid-2000s.

The most sobering part? It’s domestic. Funded, trained (somewhere), and directed by people who live in the same country they’re trying to paralyze law enforcement in. When your own citizens build and operate this level of parallel intelligence and rapid-response network against federal officers—complete with doxxing, vehicle pursuits, and harassment that’s already turned lethal—you’re no longer dealing with civil disobedience. You’re facing a distributed resistance that’s learned the lessons of successful insurgencies: stay below the kinetic threshold most of the time, force over-reaction when possible, maintain popular support through narrative, and never present a single center of gravity.

I spent years training partner forces to dismantle exactly this kind of apparatus. Now pieces of it are standing up in American cities, enabled by elements of local government and civil society. That should keep every thinking American awake at night.

Not because I want escalation. But because history shows these things don’t de-escalate on their own once the infrastructure exists and the cadre believe they’re winning the information war.

We either recognize what we’re actually looking at—or we pretend it’s still just “activism” until the structures harden and spread.

Your call, America. But from where I sit, this isn’t January 2026 politics anymore.
It’s phase one of something we’ve spent decades trying to keep off our own soil.

Because they (Minnesota) are obvious corrupt on top of the illegals they are using. Its not complex.

Texas and Florida are working closely with ICE and have deported a good number. MN doesn't work with ICE, so ICE has to go in and retrieve criminal illegals. Pretty simple. I think you may be the one who is the lost cause.

The capital crime was resisting officers while armed. That rarely ends any other way than the way it did.

Being armed is irrelevant. He never, not once made a threatening move or went for his weapon. Besides, the purpose of the 2A is to allow the citizenry a means to defend itself from a tyrannical government.

Talk about stupid.

ICE is already in those areas and with the cooperation of the locals is deporting more illegals from those places than they are in MN. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house.

My paternal grandparents both suffered from dimentia until they died, and it presented like night and day.

Grandma generally forgot where she was, who she was with, and had little to no spacial awareness. We'll call her Joe.

Grandpa, however, knew where he was and who we were for the most part. However, he notoriously thought he was still in his 40's and threw physically charged fits. We had to go through 4 caregivers because he regularly grew angry and violent.

Just saying that we wouldn't have trusted either of them to operate a microwave alone by that point.
No one over 70 should be running for or in office. Same thing as no one under 30

Stupid idea, fine but what is your idea?
I’ve already replied to you with it. Not having the Feds violate citizens rights and unaliving them. Yeah it’s really that simple. They took the badge they have the responsibility to keep the encounters safe and not kill anyone without airtight cause.

Get your head out of the sand. Minneapolis had a militia type scheme to impede ICE operations. They are putting citizens in the way on purpose. The signal chat getting hacked proved it. Minnesota politicians telling people to put their body on the line.
Why is this happening in Minneapolis and not anywhere else?

Does it have anything to do with one of the biggest fraud schemes to social services this country has ever seen?

Being armed matters quite a lot actually. Try it out with local law enforcement and let me know how it goes for you. Walk up to a stop, legally open carrying, disobey the orders to move back and when the officer goes to apprehend you fall to the ground and resist. Then, when you pull an arm free start reaching and see how long you live. You will have at no point been threatening and been legally carrying...you will also be dead and the officer will easily walk.

I guess it only applies when it’s a Democrat administration, evidently.

Even the NRA calling BS on the admin and some in this thread pushing a ridiculous narrative.

No, you need National Guard and possibly Marines in Minneapolis at this point with orders to use lethal force against anyone directly obstructing Federal officers. The State should be under temporary Federal control. Walz and Frey should rot in prison for the rest of their pathetic lives.
From the lips of the biggest remaining Russia simp on this board (RIP Ras).

Volgr: Hmm… What would Putin, Assad, or Khomeini do?? Yea, that’s what we should do, too!
