Pretty sure that ICE agents are not considered 'Peace Officers' under Minnesota law, and a citizen with a valid carry permit is not obligated to disclose that they are carrying a firearm.

Regardless, as mentioned, it doesn’t matter. It could have been a stolen gun used in 7 prior homicides and 4 bank robberies; it still has no bearing on whether this was a good shoot or not. Whether the guy had it legally or illegally doesn’t matter.
