Too much ice

Thousands of people from cities in New York to Washington state are quietly preparing for a civil war against the Trump administration's aggressive deportations after the 37-year-old's death served as a casus belli for a wider uprising.

Jacob Frey, the Mayor of Minneapolis, where Good was killed, has told ICE agents to 'get the f*** out' of his city, while the state of Minnesota has sued the government in criminal court, accusing them of orchestrating a 'federal invasion'.

As Kristi Noem's department prepares to target more metro areas across the US in the coming months, liberal armies are training people to disrupt deportations by taking on the ICE agents themselves.

In Seattle, the new socialist mayor Katie Wilson urged people to sign up for 'Washington for All ICE Mobilization Alerts', a group which is training to 'mobilize a unified response' to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) group in Manhattan is mustering more than 4,000 anti-ICE activists to form 'rapid response' teams, according to the New York Post.

'This will take all of us,' the Seattle Mayor said in a rallying call to residents via a video message posted on her X account, while she also joined protests in the city.

'We already have laws in place that forbid our local police from aiding ICE in most instances. The police will adhere to these laws. That's an important step,' added Wilson, who was sworn in as mayor on January 1.

You mean fascism like this

This act in Minneapolis led by Don Lemon was one of the most troubling open acts against Christianity I've seen.

A lot of people would say shootings at church are more troubling, but I don't know. We knew those people taking a persons life was insane.

However, when a mob floods a church thinking they have some type of moral ground there is a delusion and evil that has ravished a segment of society.

Mentioning facts, does not make you fascist. The vast majority of protestors are fat and out of shape. That's not fascist?
Too bad there weren't any facts in the post to which I replied.
Is that second sentence an attempt at fascist humor? Sorry, I don't know what you all think's funny except for some untermensch's pain.

That's a very confused post. The ICE crew is definitely more fascist than those protesting them, and your mention of healthy white males makes you sound like a bit of a fascist yourself
Confused?
It is fascist behavior to single out normal innocent citizens who look a certain way and harass them without cause whether it’s ICE or the protestors. Beating or harassing or threatening people in church or walking down the street because they are white males by “protestors” is criminal behavior.

That in itself's not indicative of fascist or leftist or any other belief. There's such behavior across the political spectrum.
It is indeed despicable criminal behavior regardless of the victims' demographics.

Completely on brand for the right on VN to defend a self-proclaimed bigot from factually labeling their bigotry. Nothing is ever racism unless anti-racists or minorities do it. This is the way
Completely on brand for you. You are either bald-face lying, or once again posting about things you know nothing about.

It’s a trendy word the left has adopted with their new fake rage. But yes, I agree the protestors don’t know what fascism is as ICE has been doing this since 2003.
It started as a left wing ideology, and it's apparently still a left-wing ideology. Authoritarian disregard for individual human rights in favor of the collective.

But that's an insufficient definition, and 'fascist' doesn't really fit the modern, violent extreme left either. Fascists and Nazis were nationalist socialist ideologies, and the modern violent, radical left wing agitators are not nationalists. Communism, Nazism and Fascism were all authoritarian, violent socialist ideals. This latest resembles all of them, but without the nationalistic underpinnings in favor of anarchy instead.

Liberals go to church too. It’s a great way to covert more voters to the Republican party.

The message is the same, has been for 30+ years. TDS kicked in. So as I said earlier, fascism is a trendy word the left has adopted in their fake rage.

"Gessen also referred to Good's death on Jan. 7 as an "execution" later in the article while lamenting limits to pushing back against the Trump administration.

"And the execution of Renee Good has surely affected every potential protester’s mental calculus," Gessen wrote.

Gessen's article, however, did not include any additional context on the shooting, such as Good driving a Honda Pilot SUV in the direction of ICE officers after allegedly ignoring demands to step out of the vehicle."
