As I quoted, the initial interaction was someone who agreed that he's a bigot. You just pushed back against him calling you a bigot as well. It seems to have smarted a bit.

Fascinating. And my first response predicted you'd have a pretty fleeting interest in this branch of the conversation.

If you truly saw bigotry as an objectively bad/evil attribute, as opposed to just a useful accusation against the people you're bigoted against, it probably wouldn't end here. One would think that you'd hate seeing it in yourself MORE than you'd hate seeing it in others.

As opposed to excusing and refusing to further discuss, I could imagine a response something similar to:

"Now that you point it out, I'm kind of shocked and embarrassed that that came out of me. I apologize, and think I probably need some introspection about where that came from."

But, that's only if you think bigotry is a terrible thing, and that the worst place to find it would be in oneself.

One might think I'm tired of bad faith posters quoting me to make bad faith arguments, as I've pointed out to you specifically several times only to see you ignore all the pushback on "neo-Nazi = bigot" to focus on the "bigotry" of saying in frustration that MAGA is a cult. Nothing is ever in good faith with you and I'm done with it

This is and Nashvol's posts are the perfect examples of what's making today's culture impossible.

It's crazy to lazily demonize entire groups with stupid stereotypes. "The Dems" aren't evil, lawless dangerous anarchists any more than "MAGA" is a cult of idiots that defend racists.

The things that need to happen are to turn the temperature down, see individuals as worthy of interaction with a willingness to give the benefit of the doubt. That's just not what many/most are willing to do any more.

Can you please name (outside of one stupid act ..Jan6th) where republican's do anything destructive or harmful? Where are they burning down communities? Busting out hotel windows? Hitting lone people with rods in the back of the head while they have 20 people mobbing the guy? Where are Republican's blocking officers? where are republican's hitting officers with suvs? It's not comparable, the leftist are mentally ill. Did a republican burn or vandalize your Tesla? Nah... a democrat did.

But again, I'm not sure I'm willing to give you even that benefit of the doubt, as the original "MAGA-ite" immediately said he doesn't "care for" the guy, followed up and confirmed the guy is a bigot, but if I recall correctly, made the assertion that you were a bigot as well, which you seem to have ironically proven correct.

Let's try that another way. If a presidential candidate made a statement--something to the effect that open borders are dangerous because many all Latino immigrants are rapists and murderers, based on the fact that some of them are rapists and murderers, would you have called that a bigoted stereotype and unfair due to the fallacious and insulting misuse of a small sample size?

Excusing bigotry. Check. Bigotry isn't bad as long as you're annoyed with a few people. I'd wager that's the source of MOST bigotry.

Again, if one truly saw bigotry as an objective vice and it was blatantly pointed out to them, how hard would it be to simply say, "Damn. My bad. That was a **** post and I should probably work on that..."?

"Good faith" would look something like: "Damn. My bad. That was a **** post and I should probably work on that..." instead of excusing it as mere "frustration". Again, I'm having trouble thinking of many bigots that aren't basically just expressing frustration with a few people as a hateful catch-all for the group they're associated with.

I refuse to read further until you confirm whether stereotypically attacking an entire group due to the acts of a few is bigoted bull****. I suspect that if you agree with that, you'll understand the lack of need to read further.
