Too much ice

You're simply not very bright. I said Good should have been arrested and faced multiple charges....how in the world is that agreeing with her criminal activity?

Are you unable to see the differences between the two situations??????
I absolutely do. Babbitt was not a serious threat to the cop that murdered her while this cop was in danger of being ran over. Go ahead and admit you're OK with murdering conservatives but your criminals need more leeway. You are a huge hypocrite.

So you don't see them as equal but you expected me to?

lol......Try to find some intellectual consistency.

I don't see them as equal, no because ashli babbitt posed no danger to the cop who shot her. She was unarmed and could have easily been detained. While your SJW was a threat, was armed with a 4000# suv.

Having said that, both own their fate because they put their selves in their own situation. The fact you calling one murder and the other not shows exactly why you are a huge walking, talking hypocrite.

Y’all disappoint me, I was expecting more from this thread… her bad poetry unemployed self, paid agitator status, ‘drive baby drive’ by the ‘wife’ with the Sportscut hairdo, she lost custody of kids with another ‘wife’ because she was putting cigarettes out on her kids (allegedly)… and…. Discuss… why do libs pick such terrible martyrs lmao
Where did the cigarette thing come from?

It is interesting to me that the poster/lawyers here all think he is likely cleared. Perhaps the rest of the board ought to take a breath and reflect on that for a moment.

The folks who know the legal standard and have seen it applied think the guy is “not guilty.”

Now those lawyers may be wrong, but it should at least cause reflection on the part of those who are so adamant that there is no way he is not guilty.
I think there’s enough stuff up in the air on this that I wouldn’t rely too much on specialized knowledge.

Supreme Court had a case last January that overruled what I thought the standard was when I started posting in this thread. They also declined to get into officer-created-dangers, so that’s still an open question, (but this isn’t the case I’d want to champion if I were trying to sell the Supreme Court on that).

Minnesota has a statute that was briefly discussed. Likely none of us really knows how that works in practice. The question of if it can even be applied to this guy is “probably not,” but it’s way more complicated than that.

Whether shooting a car is an objectively reasonable response is probably a valid question, but that’s been affirmed before.

I know two things: 1. I’ve seen more ****ed up shootings that got an acquittal and 2. perceiving a car moving towards you as a deadly threat is about as objectively reasonable as it gets. Nothing about the totality of the circumstances changes that in my mind.

There was a case here in Charlotte maybe 20 years ago. Older black woman was driving drunk and cop pulled her over. He stuck his left arm into her car to turn off her ignition when she wouldn't comply with his command to get out of the vehicle. She rolled up the power window pinning his left arm in that driver's window and began driving off. She made it maybe 30feet or so before he drew his pistol with his right hand while being drug and shot her twice killing her.

The black community here raised Cain for a couple days. I dont remember if it ever went to court...dont think so. The officer was cleared of all wrong doing though. A car is a deadly weapon. Cars kill millions of people in the US. Seems this lady made a poor decision.

And you're a little whiny simpleminded baby. (cheers to the silly name calling) maga
Sometimes the truth hurts. You are 100% a hypocrite. You know you are. You're a deranged lunatic. Go ahead and admit it. You're good with all shootings as long as it's people on the other side getting killed. The truth will set you free.

Did the agents act like a bunch of brown shirts
I'd imagine by percentage, ICE misconduct tracks with the rest of LE across the board from them to now. Hard to answer definitively, though. Body cams were pretty much in the beta stage and the Left hadn't riled up their base to track and impede ICE under Obama.
and put on a big show then too?
How are the agents putting on a show? If you mean Trump & his administration I can agree. It's one of the reasons why even though I despise the Left more, I've never carried water for Trump. His administration has certainly leaned into the show and exasperated the situation.

I'm gonna have to give the left credit for building the stage and starting the show.

Did they wear masks, refuse to identify themselves, act like thugs, bust people at immigration hearing, etc?

Dressing up like soldiers, carrying flags, driving around in convoys, stuff like that. It's theater aimed at the Fox News crowd.
