I’m pretty sure that she only had to worry about the consequences of striking an officer with her car. She would be safe at a bar no matter what she was wearing.

Y’all disappoint me, I was expecting more from this thread… her bad poetry unemployed self, paid agitator status, ‘drive baby drive’ by the ‘wife’ with the Sportscut hairdo, she lost custody of kids with another ‘wife’ because she was putting cigarettes out on her kids (allegedly)… and…. If he gets charged there are some open legal issues that the case might raise. But still think he wins and probably should.

It is interesting to me that the poster/lawyers here all think he is likely cleared. Perhaps the rest of the board ought to take a breath and reflect on that for a moment.

The folks who know the legal standard and have seen it applied think the guy is “not guilty.”

Now those lawyers may be wrong, but it should at least cause reflection on the part of those who are so adamant that there is no way he is not guilty.

I’m of the mindset that you only take a life when you have to not because you can. No doubt that he was well within his rights to do what he did but he didn’t have to.

There is a quote about people judging in the cool of the evening the actions taken by others in the heat of the day.

I always liked that quote, and I find it particularly applicable in this scenario.
