Anyone stupid enough to BRING a weapon (legal or otherwise) to a mob action confronting armed federal agents is pretty much guaranteed to be a candidate for a Darwin Award, About as smart as smoking in a fireworks factory.

I think anyone interfereing with LEOs in the performance of their duty are foolish. Period.
However, I don’t think anyone has ever put the gun in this man’s hands at any time during the time incident.

Others have said a LEO pulled the guy from the dead man’s waistband. If that is true, I think an ICE agent may have gotten carried away in the heat of the moment, and fired when he shouldn’t have.

Perhaps the dead man grabbed an officers gun in the melee, perhaps he pulled ON it and it discharged and led to other rounds being fired.

But, at this point, (with many facts yet to be developed and disclosed), it strikes me as Voluntary Manslaughter under the law.
