ICE have done plenty that skirt or are at odds with law. Particularly in Minneapolis to prove a point beyond their essential function.

You have two sides Trump and Walz/mayor etc who are in a pissing contest and people are stuck in the middle. That's more common sense than relativism.

I lean right but I know when lines have been crossed, and Trump, to quote Charlie Murphy, is a habitual line stepper........hard stop.

The time for being a Pacifist is coming to an end. A Christian is the only category/belief that isn’t protected in this Country. The full extent of the law should be applied to these thugs. We don’t pay taxes to live in a Country of people that disturb our lives. Call in the military and eradicate this disease.

I think older people have no idea what the world they've created has done to anyone under 40. It's gone beyond trolling.

They claim to be small government constituionalists but they don't want a country for that Constitution to rule over at all. ICE needs to be using every means necessary to unhouse, detain, deport, or, if necessary, eliminate the people that are defrauding and raping our country and that are here illegally. It's literally non-negotiable. It's the one job the feds have.

Anyone backing these illegals, and anyone taking foreign money or succumbing to foreign interests in our federal, state, and local governments, or citizens interfering with the one job the government has, is a traitor that should be punished to the absolute maximum extent of the law. Again, the government has one job- protect the citizenry by securing the country. It's non-negotiable.

Understand when people like Luther, ideological leftists, talk about the culture, laws, etc lurching left toward their stated utopia they hope to find many voters like you. They eventually get there.

Yes, Trump is short tempered but ICE has conducted operations all over the country. Has it ever occurred to you why this has happened in Minneapolis again? The home of George Floyd? Outside of the fact they want to distraction from a multi billion dollar fraud investigation, they are a blue anarchist city, much like Seattle, Portland, Chicago, New York and LA.

I would say its like two siblings fighting. the older brother just straight up punched his 10 year younger brother in the face because younger brother punched his shoulder first.

I may have missed it, but does that church have ANY link to ICE?

that is my biggest hold up with any of these protesters. we are protesting ICE, by raiding some random church!!! it makes no sense.

what if the aggressive actions of law enforcement disrupts the "order"?

you are proposing a never ending cycle. government cracks down. people protest. government cracks down more. more people protest. government cracks down even more. even more people protest.

at some point the government has to be SEEN as maintaining order outside of just upholding various laws that favor them. it would be a different conversation if we saw this admin going after the problem on all fronts, but they have yet to really go after any of the companies that hire illegals.

Trump ending the swearing in ceremony to make sure migrants can't become citizens is a complete disruption of "order". that ish can't be allowed. that collective punishment bs is not what America stands for.

simple case in point, how did you feel about the government shutting down churches in Covid? Or arresting people on the beaches? is that the type of triple down-ing you want to see?

I have lived thru that government overreach, I didn't like it then, I don't like it now. I don't care if its legal or justified, its not for the best of this nation to have a government that is hostile against its own population.

our nation is built on the principle that the people can change the government, and that the government isn't the end all be all. if the government has gotten far enough away from reflecting the will of the people, where things get violent. its a failure of the government, not the people. and I don't even agree with these idiots, but its disturbing how the government is just avoiding any sort of normal process to handle these conflicts. their only response has been escalation because they can.

Well we all want to make it stop. By enforcing immigration law. We're not physically abusing people by deporting them saying you are not a citizen and didn't come in the right way.

It may. The pastor has the same name as a local person who is part of ice leadership. Unconfirmed if it’s the same person or not.

I've stated as much in this very thread. Perhaps you should look through my statements to get a better feel on where I stand.

For the record I think Luther is an alright guy but I find his anti-Trump anti-anything right as problematic as I see Trump-T totalers. Trump is bad for the country, hard stop. I agree with some of his policy in principle but in action and rhetoric he leaves way too much to be desired for me to support him.

Isn't it just as faulty as moral relativism to support the rival of your political opponent just because they are the rival?

It seems to me we could do a lot better than just attempting to stand in the way of the other side, it's kind of what's gotten us to this point of continuously politically serving back and forth across the street and into the ditches......... Sooner or later we aren't going to be able to get it out of that ditch.

And to pretend that one party has been better than the other, or is even really all that different where rubber meets road is simply partisan hackery.

Lemon told the mob the pastor may have helped ICE. This could be a federal offense.

Clarification - disrupting the service with threats may be a federal offense.
