Too much ice

May I suggest you read a historical account of Cuba and/or Venezuela to see why we 'need' to own guns. If you cannot connect those dots, don't worry, you will be very useful to a tyrannical government right up to the point where they shoot you in the back of the head.
I’m baiting SCV. 😂. One that just owns “a” singular gun is what I don’t understand.
I will throw you back out into the lake. 🎣

The video you posted showed her waiving people by, including ICE agents, and being easily passed by multiple cars. So yes, it’s inconsistent with her even trying to block or obstruct traffic.

Blocking a roadway is generally a low level misdemeanor and it is behavior that wouldn’t be a big deal in any court in America. Any law enforcement officer or prosecutor making this big of a deal about somebody illegally parked but waiving people by would be reassigned or let go (and laughed about for a long time afterwards).

Guessing you don’t know whether the rest of the video exists?

The video ends right as the altercation begins. Which is why I prefaced that original post as an account I don’t follow. Maybe the folks working in the house didn’t film the incident. Maybe they did.

But the main takeaway from that 3 minute video was destroying the narrative that she had just dropped off her kids and was on her way home and stumbled upon ICE and decided to protest.

Illegally parking in the middle of the road to patrol who can and can’t get by you eliminates the peaceful protest shtick. Folks trying use her waving people by are probably the same folks who think drinking Diet Coke is healthy because it has diet in the name.

People are increasingly seeing that there are far worse things than the status quo.

Banon/Star/....trumpism was built on anger and hatred. The stated goal was to have the two sides at "war".

Moderation, compromise, unity, civility....the Kryptonite of trumpism.

He is a horrendously despicable human; and the people who continue to support him, well............

Yep, about a second reaction time, not including the neuro-processing time needs, etc...

Video timestamp goes from her sitting still and the sound of acceleration at :26 seconds, to him having been hit at :27.

???????????????
You can most certainly peacefully break the law.

Not when it comes to traffic laws.

EDIT: Let me rephrase, you can’t attempt or succeed in shutting down roads or streets or highways (breaking laws to do so) and get to claim you are peacefully protesting.

This whole altercation, you know who the peaceful protestors were? The folks on the sidewalk recording and not impeding or obstructing.

Folks saying she wasn’t being peaceful because of this are probably the ones saying the freedom rides weren’t a peaceful protest because they broke laws.

I gave you my follow up. You said less than 1 second.

What is the speed of a car? from 0 to ________ in less than one second? On ice.

Give me an estimate....you have driven a car.
No idea, and it's completely unneeded when we have his perspective via bodycam, which includes timestamps. If you'd like to make a point that would contradict those timestamps and his processing time, I'm all ears.

ETA: I think I know where this is going, so I'll play along to see it play out. 3 mile an hour.

I was born in the early 80’s. Sorry you can’t slap a label on me with claiming I said or did something by using something from the 60’s.

Notoriously non-peaceful Mahatma Gandhi spent about 2,400 days in jail. Ole boy might have gotten somewhere if he’d just been peaceful and followed the law.

I think you’ve either gotten the point and can’t admit it or you never will get it.

Well you seem confused. You went from trying to word salad your way around peaceful protest by invoking something from the civil rights era, which I wasn’t around then.

Then to go even further, you invoked Ghandi who was never a US citizen or spent time in prison for breaking Minnesota or United States law.

It just seems weird you have invoke two completely unrelated things to somehow further this discussion. All because you apparently disagree with my consistent position that she wasn’t peacefully protesting.

Disagreeing and differing opinions are totally fine. That’s healthy. But it’s hard to take your disagreements on this specific thing seriously when you try to back it up with the 1960’s and Ghandi.

Which all means the car was barely moving when it grazed against his leg.

Do a little research on how fast her car could possibly accelerate from 0 mph in less than 1 second.

Yep. This is where it was going. lol

You're claiming that a slow car can't harm you? Maria Sue Chapman. Killed when she was run over in her driveway while standing behind the car her brother started backing out of the driveway.

The court will see that video and the decision-time he was given, and rule it a justified shooting. Would it have been reasonable for him to believe in that time that he was in imminent danger, seeing a couple of tons of vehicle accelerating at him?

I will bet you 1000 VN dollars.

You really can’t understand how examples of famously peaceful but illegal protests dating back nearly 100 years applies to you saying that minimally and seemingly incidentally obstructing traffic is not peaceful protest because it breaks a law?
