First of all, there is a difference between "processing out" and "read the writing on the wall"
Processing means UT coaches does not honor their offer. "Read the writing on the wall" the recruit makes the decision to stay or decommit. In none my posts on this subject have I ever used the term "a wink and a nod"
If you've read any of posts I've explained why TN coaches don't practice processing. Sometimes recruits will accept a grey shirt of a semester and go on a full ride which counts against next years totals. I have repeated that Processing shows "lack of integrity" on the coaches part. That's an awful lot to lose because recruiting is all about the relationships between the coaches, recruits, recruit's parents, recruit's HS coach.
I have consistently said "trust the coaches creativity, the numbers always work out."
Since you say "it happens all the time", then name 3 times where UT coaches pulled a "ship" and left a recruit high and dry. You'll be lucky if you can name one
UF processed a 3* TE, with good grades, no trouble etc. The recruit's dad went full nuke on every media outlet he could get on, even ESPN.
If Taylor or Smith want to come here, they'll be here. No one will be processed. The best thing you can do is not worry about it, coaches will handle this and not ruin their reputations.
Where there's a difference of opinion, then there's always room for a wager.
You win, you can make a 100 posts telling everybody how stupid I am with no contest. I win and I only require one thing: for you to shut up about processing.
