Too Conservative

That was the most conservative offense I've ever seen:banghead2:.How bout that 4th quarter? When your defense is dominating, why not throw it deep a little bit? It was terribly stale last week vs. UF. Ole Miss aired it out a little bit, and look what happened. We got a lot of help from penalties, our defense, and the punting game. If this doesn't change we're looking at a 6-6 or 5-7 year.

You must have been watching a different game than I was. I saw Crompton go deep multiple times to receivers who weren't there, or the to the Auburn Cheerleaders. My favorite long passes were on 3 and short where he bombed it out of bounds to no one in particular.

just because we didn't move the ball any doesn't mean we were conservative, just that we are that bad.

Did you see Crompton throw the ball 2day??? If he threw it deep it was in the stands...so we were kinda forced to be more conservative...still Crompton could complete passes down the middle of the field

did you see the game. Auburn knew crompton couldnt pass so they keyed up on the run and blitzed on passing downs, and low and behold even when the play called for a deep pass, crompton got spooked, sacked, hit, or threw the ball over the auburn players out of bounds

We were conservative because we realized that our QB should be named CORKY !!!! :crazy:

The one time we weren't conservative was when we had the ball on their 40 and we ran 2 trick plays out of the "G-This is CRAPPY-GUN"

The one time we weren't conservative was when we had the ball on their 40 and we ran 2 trick plays out of the "G-This is CRAPPY-GUN"

True... i'm just pissed because we only scored 12 points
