We are better off. All the way around. A new QB should start this week. If Not We should win. But.... We Are Tennessee. Jalen, Best of luck kid.

Honestly we don't need a new QB, Dobbs is our last leader left at this point. We don't need anymore shots at team chemistry. We do need the coaching staff to let Dobbs be Dobbs, and no try to force him into being a pocket passer. Square peg round hole.

We need an offensive spark and a different QB could be it. Let Dormady start.

I'd love announce that Dormandy was starting the Tech game with the understanding if he struggles Dobbs takes over. If he does fine he gets the whole game.

After that it's back to Dobbs, and if we actually score first and mount a 14 point lead on any of our remaining 3 teams Dormandy gets a shot at closing them out in the 4th quarter.

Butch i'm sure wants to salvage the season...and he may think Dobbs could use the confidence of beating up on somebody for a change.

Dormady is next to go -- anyone who sees him on the sidelines would know that, JG is always next to Dobbs and Dormady is on the other end of bench alone

We started with 4 captains elected by the team. Only one is left on the field. Lets just sit him.

Dobbs will start till the end of season. Butch is not going to sit him. He is too loyal. Remember when Dobbs wanted to red shirt one year but Butch had him play due to injuries? I do expect more play time for Dormady though.

Let Dormady play in garbage time for the rest of the year then have an epic 3 way battle in the Spring, jmo.

I see no downside to playing the other QBs.

Dobbs is not going pro in football, he is going pro in engineering. If he keeps playing, with the lack of a blocking O-Line, he is going to get his brain scrambled...it honestly looked like he got his bell rung in the USCjr game with some of the decisions he was making.

You do realize that USC stayed in their pass rush lanes to keep Dobbs from getting out of the pocket and "Creating" on his own? It was not the coaches for TN that made Dobbs a pocket passer it was Will Muschamp that made Dobbs a pocket passer. That is why Muschamp is 5-0 against Butch he knows how to coach an inferior team to victory.

JG and Dobbs always look like they're discussing the game or talking on the sideline and you barely ever see Dormady

Back to Jalen. 400 yards away from the all time UT record Wtcrap. But dobbs is a beast. But I want some expierence next year. Cant hurt to thow JG or QD or SJ I dont care. Somebody else needs to play QB. If some of you dont see that than im sorry to say. Your wrong

I agree, what do we got to lose, this team isn't winning anything, and Dobbs is setting the world on fire, maybe the ground from All of the friction from all the dirtballs has throwing. But, he's a senior, let's get ready for next year, Dobbs might be a great kid, a great ambassador for the university, but UT football is in the business of winning games, and Dobbs isn't doing that..

As a Captain; Dobbs is a failure. I would remove the "C" from his shirt. But he is the best (?) we have for the rest of the year and should start if healthy.

Next year it should be JG all the way.

Worst case scenario, QD or SJ performs badly and Dobbs goes back in. Absolutely no downside that I can see.
