Eric Berry is expected to announce after the Chick-fil-A bowl. He is leaning towards declaring for the NFL Draft.

They expect Dennis Rogan to declare for the NFL Draft.

i think rogan has it in him to play at the next level. he must have recieved a pretty good grade by the league for him to leave. he has 3 years of film that shows he has held his own against some pretty good recievers in the sec and he is very physical and a good run support guy

Who can catch a ball? My heart can't take another NuKeese on PR next year! :mf_surrender:

It is suprising in the fact that I wasn't even thinking of him as a possible option to leave early...must not want to be the next Heffeny.

Rogan needs to stay but he is looking at the rookie salary cap in two years. A good year next year and he goes from a 4th round pick to a 2nd rounder.

Gerald Jones is the most likely candidate to return punts next year unless Teague or maybe Oku step up.

Rogan is a mid round pick at best right now, though if he runs well at the combine, he could be a 3rd rounder. But this has more to do with his sucky academics than anything else.

He also has a kid. Rogan being a good punt returner helps him out a lot too.

Exactly. Rogan can be your nickel or dime DB and starting PR right away. He has the potential to mayyyybe start at safety one day, but his height is an issue at corner.

Yes. If Chris Carr can hang around the NFL as a dime back and a punt returner, so can Rogan.

I think if we could ever get dorsey, he is similar playing style. Long fast and returns kicks

:good!:

The best that Rogan could hope for is a Jabari Greer type situation for his NFL career. If he works hard he could be successful, but I think it's up to him.

Eric Gordon might be a good canidate to return kicks...I live in Nashville and saw him play at Hillsboro...I know high school is not the SEC but he is blistering fast and was an unbelievable return man in High school

I expect to see Gordon on the field quite a bit if Rogan leaves.

Good luck to both!

I wasn't expecting Rogan to leave, but I hope he does well in the NFL if that's his choice.

I'm thankful he chose to play for the Vols!

Please no. I think we have better options. I think Kiffin wants more speed back there. Even though Jones is sure handed on punt returns. Oku should be a viable option.
