the 8th most winning program in the NCAA is NOT a 2nd tier school
That Fulmer has wiped the slate clean with the coaching search and is starting over. Said his first two targets are confirmed to be Fuente and Patterson and he's contacting them directly (no agents) to see if they're interested.
Also reported that Bev Davenport went over Haslam's head to appoint Fulmer as AD. Said Haslam wanted Currie's assistant (forgot his name) and Bev told him "over my dead body." Said we owe Bev Davenport a lot of gratitude for standing up to the Haslams.
Fake news!! None of that is true. Second game, score was 45-24, and it was played on the infield. Dude!Dude...
It was Fuente's first game ever as VT head coach and played on a Nascar track. And he only lost by 7.
This and I apologize for anything I said that may have been negative about her.
The Chancellor of the University of Tennessee has a boss, two actually. First step above her head is President Joe DiPietro, above Joe and that man with ultimate authority about hiring/firing decisions at the entire University of Tennessee system, Governor Bill Haslam.
In other words, if the Haslams really wanted Reid Sigmon as AD, they would have said Joe, Beverly will hire Reid as AD or she will be replaced. If you have a problem with that, you'll both be replaced and Reid will still get the job.
