I was listening to Tony Barnhardt on 104.5 on with Doug Matthews in Nashville. A caller asked the question if they knew Bryce Browns high school stats, etc. Barnhardt said that it would have to play out. While Bryce might be awesome, the level of competition in Kansas was not the same as some of the other high school hotbeds and that some services fall in love with "highlight reels". I think Mr. Barnhardt's nickname is Mr. SEC.........hmmmm interesting.

Volman before you start a new thread or post something to an existing one, do me a favor and think of this image...

I apologize. My previous post was somewhat inflammatory. I humbly present this as a substitute.

Yes, I got absolutely HAMMERED on here for suggesting the EXACT thing that a prominent SEC writer said AFTER I said it. I wasn't saying that it was a given that he wouldn't be that great, but a distinct possibility based on level of competition.

I got warned about calling people names earlier this week or I'd unleash on you.

Anyone in Nashville that heard the Tony Barnhardt Show knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I bet it made you cringe too when you heard it.

Yes he may have been from a place with little football power. It's just going to make him all the more better when he gets here and is surrounded by the same types of players. Given not all had the hype that B. Brown is facing, he will be just fine and Kiffin will find great ways to utilize his abilities next year.

Volman38, there is a different between 1) admitting the level of competition is lower in a given state (as Barndhardt did, purportedly) and 2) postulating that the best player in the nation can't be from a state with less than the highest level of competition - as you did in such a memorable thread a while back.

So actually you didn't say the same thing as Barnhardt.

You can't even get his nickname right and we're supposed to listen to you?

I didn't hear it. I believe you if you say Barnhardt said it. I don't care. No one else does either.

My point is that it is NOT that ridiculous like most of you on here said. It's a fairly good viewpoint if you're being objective.

I'm sorry, he's known as Mr. College Football. My Bad

From this moment on, I shall be known as Mr. VolNation. Everything I post henceforth will be regarded as more important, accurate, and worthwhile than anything any other poster adds.

The level of competition isn't all that great in Tennessee. Patrick Willis seems to be a decent player. Anyway, since we're talking about Bryce Brown... Whatever happened to that disturbing information you informed the entirety of VolNation that you had on Brown?
