Looked really good during the game. Kiffin's got exactly the run game he likes. In one or two years our running game will be LenDale White/Reggie Bush esque. The recruiting services really missed on this guy, and I'm siked to have him...... Your thoughts????

He's a beast. I've been huge on him for a while now. I had alot of people around me asking, "Is that the #1 player in the country?" I would laugh and say, "Nahh. He's just a 3 star."

Toney Williams, imo, was the player of the game. He was a beast. He looks far more aggressive and quicker than Lendale White. For the sake of a "thunder and lightening" conversation, though, I think it's a fair comparison. BB is going to have his hands full trying to get in front of this guy on the depth chart.

Wasn't he underrated because he missed like all of his senior year with an injury or something? Or was that someone else?

Either way though, he looked solid. he's not as big as LenDale, but he's a lot quicker.

No I don't believe so he rushed for 2,000+ yards his senior year.

He was underrated because of his 40 time. The states 5A player of the year and weren't there several georgia runningbacks rated higher than him? I'm glad Toney Williams is a Vol.

I was extremely impressed with his quickness! he is going to be a great addition in the backfield for years to come! And i have to say he wasnt as big as I thought he would be.

He was amazing. Any chance he gets in the rotation a lot this year? or is it going to be a hardesty, brown, oku, and maybe poole show?

I think he may get some goal line and short yardage snaps this year but with get decent playing time once Hardesty graduates. Enrolling early helped him out a lot.

I work with a guy that helped coach Toney when he was younger. He said Toney has always been a stand up guy, and a super hard worker. Seems like both of those traits have already started to pay off.

When I got TWs autograph at Haslem, I was expecting a big bruising RB like Lendale. But he looked very lean to me. Honestly, I didn't think he was that big at all. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite players...

He dropped like 10-15 pounds of extra weight when he came on campus apparently. Hopefully he can gain some of that back in muscle with the S&C program we have.

it's great t be a Vol. I remember getting recruiting updates on this kid all last year. He loved the Vols from the get go, and was adamant that he was gong to Knoxville the entire year despite the fact we had a terrible a season, coaching change, and we were recruiting giles, Brown, and Oku hard. He was fired up to come here no matter what! Not only that but he was puttingnup some monster numbers in high school during his last year. I was totally surprised that he was ranked so low and that no one was recruiting him hard. He maybe better than Bryce when it's all said and done!

If we have the Smash and Dash thing with out backs then we will have the biggest Dash out there because BB is about 215 himself

My hometown high school team (Walton) played his this year in football. Walton was (I believe) a top 2-3 team in the state at one point during the season so they are fairly good, but Williams put up around 300+ yards on them. Him running the ball was his high school's (Milton) ONLY chance at winning any of their games... I think he carried the ball 30-45 times a game or some absurd amount.

He is flat out a beast, though. He definitely was the best looking back out there yesterday!
