We are going to get to witness CDD's ability to lead a team and coaching staff next season. The first two seasons revealed he has been learning on the job. Next season tells us if he learned the lessons or not, regardless of what recruits sign through NSD.

At this point not seeing much credibility with any of the "in the know" posters FWIW.

I think you guys are reading too much into the post change. It didn't cross my mind that he was trying to save face when he made the change. To me it conveyed disappointment not at attempt to dupe...now the Vol lock stuff...he likely has learned his lesson there

Your job is much different. It's silly to compare your job to this situation. This is recruiting for a football team. And I was right. Otis left, D. Jacobs left. Autry didn't surprise anyone. It's recruiting. There are more important things to really worry about. I'm thankful for what I have and if the players come to UT, great. If they don't we can move on.

Told you guys he was a fraud when he was posting stuff about jelks that anyone with a volquest sub could tell you was not true. He did turn out to be wrong about that, and here once again.

I don't know the whole story. Apparently, though, the AD office contacted him about providing artwork for recruits. He also wrote an impassioned letter to a recruit (Scroggins, maybe?) that made its way to the interwebs. There was a huge blowup on VN about it. Pretty epic, IIRC.

Its funny how everyone would blast someone for not buying into everything OCI would claim to be true. I tried to tell people to not buy into to everything the guy says. I appreciate inside info, but that doesn't mean im going to take everything he says to heart either. If any of you believed him and bought in then that's on you.

Mine too bro. Love Whiskeytown. I recently downloaded the unreleased demos. Amazing. I am patiently waiting for the day when they reunite for a tour. Doesn't look like it is gonna happen but at least Ryan is making music again and touring. Have you listened to the new RA record yet?

I know you are struggling with your decision. I just want you to know I wish you well wherever you play, but my heart will break for you if you announce Trojan. We love you in Tennessee. You would be our hero....

But I watch you and I think you do what it is you do as good as it's ever been done.....

We love Lane Kiffin and the brass he has brought to this battle....

But most of us will love you and want well for you. That's just the kind of people that live here in Tennessee. I'm sure your mom's family knows something about that.....

I hope I see you on campus sometime so I can shake the hand of a man that is getting set to play big time NFL ball. You got it in you, bro, you just have to take advantage of all your opportunities. Work your hardest whatever it is you are doing. At Tennessee You will get first team reps your freshman year and there is a real possibility of winning that starting QB job. I haven't been saying "fraud," however, I've just been pretty questioning. Either way, lots of us figured this out a while ago. I'm not going to try to run him off. He just looks like an idiot if he keeps trying.

I agree.. being passionate is a good thing. But telling a recruit you love him is a BAD thing.
