I'm ready to see our future. If Bruce stays, great. If he leaves, great.

Only problem with Bruce leaving, we lose a great point guard in Chris Jones..

If Bruce Pearl leaves, I will thank him for 5 wonderful years and one year that I wish I could forget. 5 out of 6 aint bad!!!! Wish him well. Hope he gets a job in the NBA or on the TV. Do not ever see him in division one basketball again. Based on what has happened to other coaches who got in real trouble from the NCAA. Big Time School will not take that risk!!!

Agree with all that. He will be great on ESPN. He will get a job in a couple years at a mid major or conference USA school since that conference seems to be coaching rehab. (Eustachy, Floyd, Davis) for troubled or washed up coaches. He may get a shot at big time job in few years. Doubt it but could happen. Georgia hired Harrick so it's possible

Coming from a friend of mine that works in the AD:

Press conference tomorrow, Bruce and the Chancelor of the school.

Weird that you just found out considering Hubbs and others have said same thing last night. That source must be a little slow these days.

You're obviously confused. The Pearl supporters are the NegaVols. Everybody else thinks we have a good enough program to not wait through a suspension.

Bruce may be tomorrow but Hammy will be gone at the conclusion of the NCAA hearings in June, Book That!

Harrick didn't really get sanctioned by the NCAA. UCLA fired him for lying to them.

Good point. I was referring to his reputation after his time at UCLA and Rhode Island. Just seemed like an unwise hire. Indiana was silly to hire Sampson. Maybe a team will give Pearl a shot but I can't see him at a big time program.

This. Just read article on New Sentinel where the majority of posters wrote that they were donors/ ticket holders/ loved UT....but were not giving a dime to UT again or going to another game if Pearl was fired. However, WE are the nega-Vols? Riiiight! Unreal how many people are ignorant about the situation, many think Pearl has already been punished. Most "support Pearl" fans I have met don't even realize the likelihood he wouldt even be coaching next year if UT kept him. Real fans

I think the next money this school spends is to hire Donald Trump to tell Hamilton he's fired!!!

When one man in 6 years to gets more NCAA appearances than ever in school history, doesn't exactly equal a great basketball program lol.

That isn't even close to accurate. Hell, he is only tied for the most NCAA appearances by a coach at the school
