How about Ovince St. Preaux? (I have no clue how to spell it) He's a cage fighter now. If the players don't meet specific goals he can just beat them up.

Talked to a few coaches today that said as long as Miles stayed then Moffit wasnt going anywhere. They diddnt give me any names as to who theyre looking at right now, but from what I could tell from them, dont expect the next S&C coaches name to come out until few hours before he is hired.

Well its over. I wish we could have brought Moffitt home but family trumps everything.

hire the guy from the Jets and be done with it. Or walk into the Rush and hire one of their trainers you will get equal results.

its S&C coach, you guys are acting like this is an offensive coord. Who cares who the S&C coach is. If these guys want to make themselves better they will be in the weight room and working out with whoever the S&C coach is, rather that is Moffit or Justin Bieber

there is far more to S&C coaching than working in weight room. you do understand that?

players spend more time with the S&C coach, week to week, than their position coach.

This. If you dont have a fundamentally sound and stable S&C coach, its a moot point. I dont care what anyone says, losing Bennie hurt pretty bad.

What i dont understand, is if he was so strung up about going "home" to Texas, they why did he leave Texas Tech in the first place to come here.

here's the deal. moffitt's flight to atl was delayed bc of the weather, got it deverted to memphis for 2hrs later, went home to wait instead of sitting in the airport. Miles and the AD were there at his house waiting and the rest is history. so the 20 year snow storm that hit atl came at the wrong time. next time direct flight!

Texas is much closer to family than texas tech was. not sure any other place would have pulled him outside of Texas
