This isn't exactly what they wearin tonight. Same symbol but atop a cut out of the state of ohio

We stopped using that version of the logo in 2000. There are only so many ways to graphically depict the letters "U" and "T" for the purposes of logo. Let it go.

Texas owns copyright laws to that logo...that is their problem.

Texas may own copyright to their version/color. You can't have entire rights to a U and a T, but to theirs they can.

Actually, the University of Tennessee's UT is different. Ours has the T starting over the U and going under the U at the bottom. So two different designs. Tennessee is still known as UT and has been well before Texas was established.

I also like our UT logo that incorporates the outline of our state border like in my profile pic.

Toledo is going to be okay.
