What is the problem that you are referring to? Why is it a problem that it's lasted 40 days? Is it because it gets a bunch of overzealous Vol fans anxiety? What exactly is this great big huge problem you refer to?

Obviously seeing how nobody has any clue what’s going on, it’s being kept in house. That’s the definition of keeping something in house lol. Stable football programs keep this stuff in house and not the way us UT fans are used to with butch, kiffin, Dooley. My point is saying something is wrong and this is a dumpster fire based on 0 knowledge of anything is Beyond stupid. Hell, has anybody thought our next coach could be on Clemson or bamas staff and we’re waiting for them to finish their current obligation like professionals instead of leaking info and being unprofessional? Or crazy thought, maybe our next oc is in the nfl playoffs right now. The Athletic dept doesn’t owe crazy fans updates on their hiring process.

I called him out on it a couple of weeks ago on Twitter when he stated we were having to do a major reset when we didn't get Freeze who he was told by his solid sources wanted to be here and it would be our administration's fault if he wasn't hired, a rumor that has been shot down numerous times!

I actually agree with you to an extent. I agree that nobody really has a clue. Since nobody has a clue, we don't really know for sure if it's a dumpster fire or not. Vols coaching hires have a well documented history of being dumpster fires so I can understand how folks could make that leap, myself included. IMO and it's just an opinion that the longer this goes on, the higher the probability of this being a dumpster fire.

So if no one knows anything, how is one opinion hilarious and the other is not? One side seems to be based on an assimption that Fulmer is a great AD and Pruitt is a great head coach, neither of which are proven. The other side seems to be based on the recent history of ut coaching hires, which hasnt gone well, to say the least.

Lol how? He put it out there for public opinion. I'm not speaking to anyone directly trying to persuade them from signing up for a useless recruiting service that you could do on your own with better results.

What other arguments are there to not bringing Tee on in some capacity? "Interest in adding Tee Martin" to the staff doesn't sound remotely like he's an OC candidate.

His "place" is where he deems best for he and his family at any giving point. The enmity towards him displayed by some here is cretinous.

The old ADs aren’t there anymore. Davenport isn’t there anymore. The old administration that had dumpster fires aren’t there. When fulmer got hired he got the hire done smooth and easy and our AThletic dept has been quiet and ran smooth since. Saying old administrations that aren’t even there anymore having bad hire history and problems doesn’t make sense relative to this search because the current administration, if anything, has ran a clean and easy ship so far to this point. It’s all guesses from all sides right now but freaking out with zero knowledge of anything is stupid right? With all the different circumstances in play with coaches, some hires are fast and some take longer. But whether it’s fast or slow doesn’t make a difference. All hires are 100% different in their own ways.
