Ive noticed him miss quite a few tackles this season and today, he really didnt help the CBs.

Maybe I am wrong. What does everyone else see?

I see a defense that is not as good ss last years even before we lost JRM and Sutton to injury. Poor tackling and many whiffs. The run D is kind of bad.

He had some good picks last year tho and with Florida's backup QB he should step up next week. We will need all the turnovers we can get.

I think this team will be really good once they find their groove. We have played sloppy at times. Hopefully we will find our groove in a hurry

The real problem I've seen is that players are waiting to make the tackle instead of initiating contact. A lot of players are breaking down five yards away from the offensive player instead of meeting the offensive player in the hole.

In my opinion they play very undisciplined football, they put the ball on the ground what 5 times today. It's almost like they expect to be great given everything that was said about them in the off season. They haven't realized there is a target on their back every week. They are not earning the respect they want, they have to want to go out and take it.

Is there a player we don't want to start a thread complaining about? My lord. Y'all whine more than my ex wife.

Not complaining. Just wanted to know everyone else's opinions.

It's ok to have rational thoughts about a team you root for.

Makes you miss how solid Randolph and McNeil were back there....

Yeah. I miss seeing Randolph literally break his ankle in the open field.

Didn't we say things like that? He wasn't good enough while he was here. Nobody is. Not even Peyton who couldn't beat florida.

Also absolutely hate to see a player leave their feet, lunging at the ball carrier, instead of form tackling, wrapping up, and driving through the ball carrier.

Kinda funny how much better the safety play is already 3 games in without them. Think TKjr has two forced fumbles already if I'm not mistaken. Abernathy is better than either of those two guys ever were and he's just getting started.
