His numbers were too good to ignore even for the snubs who vote each year. Todd always played hard, never heard a hint about being tainted, and just play baseball like it should be. Seeing how hard it is for a non- Yankee/Dodger to get in, good to see a good guy win.

Back in the day, we could actually knock the crap outta folks. None of this targeting, horse collar BS. Sure didn't have players running around in shorts without padding. A good ol' clothesline was part of the game. Now you get more physicality in a lingerie league. Back then pads were actually needed.
